Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
Most individuals with learning dificulties, and these include: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Aspergers Syndrome, A.D.H.D., Visual / Hearing Impairments etc, are eligible for Disabled Students Allowance. This is a fund specifically designed to pay for suport to level the playing field for that student in /a href=art046.htm>Higher Education. However, accessing it can sometimes be confusing and complex and we can help with this by:To make an appointment, please phone 0845 347 9322 or email indigo@4dyslexics.com To make an appointment you will need a copy of the letter from Student Finance England or NHS bursaries, asking you to have a needs assessment. We will also require a copy of the Medical Evidence you sent to Student Finance England (SFE) or NHS Bursaries when you applied for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). This might be an Educational Psychologist report or a General Practitioners (GP) letter. If you are in doubt about any of this please phone and we can advise you. |
