Our Journey
Founded in 1986 after a family’s search to understand their son’s dyslexia, Indigo began with a simple mission: clarity, support, and practical solutions where little existed.
From early volunteer-led screening in Norwich to becoming a registered charity and later Indigo Solutions Limited, the organisation steadily expanded its services and reach. Partnerships with universities and Disabled Students Allowance assessments strengthened its role in student support across the region. The shift to online delivery during the 2020 pandemic transformed operations nationwide, leading to a permanent home at 2 Duke Street, Norwich. Today, Indigo continues to grow — expanding into dyscalculia screening and digital access — guided by its core belief that dyslexia is a learning difficulty, not a learning impossibility.
